Little sketch I did of one of my favourite anime/manga pairings: Shiro & Mephisto from Ao No Exorcist.
I intend to make a fancy, full-coloured version sometime soon.
*EDIT: Shiro is supposed to be rather young here (he's 19/20 in the fanfic right now). I gave him his regular coat and scarf to be a bit more recognizable, but no wrinkles or beard... Goatee... Stubble thing yet

The kind of dialogue I wish I could slow my head down enough write. x') No, not trying to be nice. I wish I could condense and distill concepts like that. Delectable mixture of teasing and philosophy in Mephisto's "Maybe there is no reason", and that piercingly human undertone in "But I want there to be one." So much of human nature in one simple sentence. And Mephisto sees it perfectly well.
Mind if I base a dialogue off this one, some day when Shiro is older and (maybe) wiser?
